Milburn Mountain Defense’s ‘everyday armour’ lineup features our IIIA ballistic protection soft plates. These plates come in a variety of sizes and can be easily slipped into a backpack, briefcase, laptop bag or into your carrier as a stand-alone. The shooter’s cut fits our Summit LTE Carrier and others well. These plates are light and soft enough to be less noticeable and flexible.
It can be used every day, or just for the added security of when you’re on duty, at the shooting range, and even hunting. Want to bump up your protection to counter rifle rounds, see our lineup of hard armour that we make here in Quesnel, British Columbia, Canada.

Threat protection, built and tested to NIJ IIIA standards, which include;

.357 SIG FMJ Flat Nose (FN) bullets with a specified mass of 8.1 g (125 gr) and a velocity of 448 m/s ± 9.1 m/s (1470 ft/s ± 30 ft/s)
.44 Magnum Semi Jacketed Hollow Point (SJHP) bullets with a specified mass of 15.6 g (240 gr) and a velocity of 436 m/s ± 9.1 m/s (1430 ft/s ± 30 ft/s).
